Senator Clinton Bashes Bush Team

WASHINGTON, June 28 - Following President Bush's refusal to turn over White House documents pertaining to the wiretapping of American citizens, the firing of U.S. Attorneys, and the interrogations of alleged terrorists, Senator and presidential candidate Hillary Clinton came out swinging.

Speaking at the New York Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution she called the president "a conniving, cheating, coward" and cautioned that impeachment would be treating Bush too kindly. "He and Cheney should be put in stockades on the National Mall and left there for the public to communicate their anger," she said. "Americans have been led through the political sewer for the past six years; now it's time to give the sewage back to its rightful owners."

Clinton also called Bush's Republican supporters in Congress "heinous hypocrites who sit on their brains all day while contemplating their genitals." She pointed out that her husband at least had a "whistle blower" who regularly serviced him in the Oval Office. "These pathetic Republican ass-wipes are so self-centered they're either holding their own or seeking relief one page at a time."

Clinton had no kinder words for the five conservative Supreme Court justices whom she labeled "ideologue idiots." "They are so blind to the public interest," she pointed out, "they are unable to call a spade a spade even with Justice Thomas on their side" whom she described as "the rear end of a dark horse."

When questioned about other members of the Bush Administration Clinton called them all "a bunch of gonadless gofers" but reserved her most pointed contempt for Attorney General Alberto Gonzales. She labeled him as Bush's "spic-and-span White House detergent" who must have received a mail order law degree from some Bible college. "Perhaps he's qualified to play Ricky Gonzales in a remake of the I Love Lucy show."

Democratic presidential hopefuls Senator Barack Obama and Jonathan Edwards were taken aback by Clinton's outbursts. Obama excused his fellow Senator citing "runaway female hormones." Edwards offered that Clinton may have had "a bad hair day" or perhaps found another woman in bed together with her "philandering husband."

Members of the anti-war movement and political left hailed Senator Clinton as a candidate who finally had the balls to speak out. They were delighted to see an end to her posturing and saying what many Americans have been thinking but held their tongues. "Bush and Cheney should stay at home baking cookies and let women with big mouths and hearts run the country," said House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. "It's time we have a president who will tell the neo-conservatives to 'fuck off' and corporate bagmen to 'shove it,'" added Senator Barbara Boxer.

Although the White House had no comment on Clinton's remarks, spokesman Tony Snow cited her depictions as "undignified." "Our leaders deserve our respect regardless of perceived poor job performance," he said.
